We started this because we lived it.
Family Legacy Empowerment Project exists because navigating probate alone — grieving, confused, and without anyone to translate the legal language — is a burden no family should have to carry.
Why we exist
When someone we love dies, the probate process rarely waits for us to be ready. For first-generation, immigrant, and ESL families, it often arrives on top of a language barrier, an unfamiliar court system, and no one in the family who has been through it before.
Family Legacy Empowerment Project started with that exact experience — watching a family navigate a process that was never explained to them in a way they could understand, at the worst possible time to be figuring it out alone.
We built this course so that the next family doesn't have to start from zero. Not legal advice — just the plain-language, step-by-step foundation everyone deserves before they walk into a courtroom, an attorney's office, or a bank.
Our Mission
To empower individuals facing the probate process by providing accessible, culturally sensitive, short-form video education that simplifies complex legal and financial concepts.
Our Vision
A future where every family, regardless of income or language barriers, can confidently navigate the probate process with the foundational knowledge they need to protect their loved ones and legacies.

What guides us
Educational, never legal advice
We equip families with knowledge so they can ask the right questions — and we always encourage consulting a licensed attorney for anything specific to their situation.
Open to every family
Cost should never be the reason a family goes into probate unprepared. Our videos and guides are free to watch and download.
Built for real families
Every script is written for someone who is grieving, overwhelmed, and doing this for the first time — not for a law school classroom.
Growing with the community
We're building multilingual translations, printable resources, and community workshops so this reaches families in the way that works best for them.
